Just wanted to let you know that there is a team called the UBC Thunderbirds, who are presently in the process of gaining varsity status for their highly skilled university team.
They won the Burnaby 8 Rinks Centre Ice Female Hockey School's Ice Breaker Tournament, and they placed third in the 1996 Senior AA provincial championship.
